Jean-Marc Nahas
Jean-Marc Nahas was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1963, where he lives today, and studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA), Paris.
He has had several solo exhibitions, including “War Time, Peace Time” at the Rose Issa project space, London (2009), as well as shows at the Naila Kettaneh Kunigk Gallery, Beirut (2008); French Cultural Centre, Beirut, Lebanon (2005, 2002, 1999); Green Art Gallery, Dubai, UAE (1996); Galerie 50x70, Beirut, Lebanon (1994); Galerie Pink, Montreal, Canada (1991); Galerie Epreuve d’Artiste, Kaslik, Lebanon (1989, 1992, 1997); and Galerie Rumors, Kaslik, Lebanon (1989).
He has appeared in numerous group exhibitions, including the Fall Exhibition at the Sursok Museum, Beirut, Lebanon (2004, 1995-97, 1987-88); the Biennale Latakiah, Syria (1997); and the University of Montréal, Canada (1993).
