Ahmed Moustafa, Rachid Koraichi, Nja Mahdaoui, Mohai Qotbi and Ali Omar Ermes are five contemporary artists from North Africa renowned for their calligraphic works, executed in a variety of media.
This catalogue accompanied an exhibition co-curated by Rose Issa at the Concourse Gallery at the Barbican, London and the Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam, in 1995.
